Ready-Made Itineraries
Three Selmer-based plans we give our own guests — copy them freely.
1-Day: Shiloh in a Day
| When | What |
| 8:30 AM | Leave Selmer after breakfast in town; reach Shiloh Visitor Center by ~9:15. |
| 9:15–12:30 | Film and exhibits, then the driving tour: Hornet's Nest, Peach Orchard, Bloody Pond. |
| 12:30 | Picnic in the park or lunch back toward Selmer. |
| 2:00–4:00 | Shiloh Church and the National Cemetery; river views at Pittsburg Landing. |
| Evening | Dinner in Selmer; early night or a courthouse-square stroll. |
2-Day: History + Lake Weekend
| Day | Plan |
| Day 1 | Shiloh in depth (above), plus the Buford Pusser Museum in Adamsville on the way back. |
| Day 2 | Sunrise at Pickwick Landing, a morning on the water or the state-park trails, golf or the Dam in the afternoon, sunset over the lake. |
Fishing Weekend on Pickwick
| Day | Plan |
| Friday | Arrive Selmer, early night — the ramp is busy before dawn on tournament weekends. |
| Saturday | On the water at first light; weigh-in or a relaxed afternoon bite; catfish dinner. |
| Sunday | Sunrise session, slow drive home via the Dam. |
